Here’s a fundamental question. Are you happy with the performance of your sales team? On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate each salesperson? How about your CSR’s/Project Managers? And on the same 1-10 scale, how would you rate yourself as a salesperson, or as a sales manager? If this evaluation yields more 7’s and below than 8’s or above, Dave Fellman can probably help.
The Total Sales Team Coaching Program has 3 components. First, Dave will walk you through a more in-depth evaluation of each member of your sales team, and this evaluation will form the foundation of an individual Performance Improvement plan. Some elements of this plan will be carried out internally. Others may require external resources. The bottom line is that you’ll have a plan to get those 7’s and below to 8 or above!
The second component has Dave working directly with your sales team. This might involve working with individual salespeople, or with your entire team. It might be one-on-one sessions, or group sessions, or a combination of both. It might involve coaching you as a salesperson, or as a sales manager. One of the hallmarks of Dave’s program is its flexibility; it’ll be the program you need. In these coaching sessions, Dave will provide training and accountability, strategy and tactics, time management and organization – again, it’ll be exactly the program you and your sales team need.
The third component is specifically about you as a sales manager. Dave will help you to manage by objective and subjective. He’ll help you to set tangible sales objectives for each individual, and for your company as a whole. He’ll help you to manage the subjective element of the Performance Improvement plans developed in the first stage of the program. In other words, he’ll help you to measure progress from the 1-10 scores you have to the 1-10 scores you want! He’ll also help you with issues such as motivation and compensation.
How much will all of this cost? A typical “long distance” program — telephone coaching sessions supplemented by e-mail exchanges — will run from $400-$800 per month for the first three months, and then drop to approximately half of that for however much longer you stay with the program. Dave considers himself a teacher more than a consultant. In other words, his objective is to help you to improve and to become self-sufficient. He won’t abandon you, but he won’t try to turn himself into a permanent part of your cost structure either. Dave is also available to come onsite as part of this program, and while that’s not necessary, there does seem to be a correlation between “facetime” and the ultimate level of success. Dave’s rate for an onsite visit is $1800 per day plus expenses.
If you could use some help with your sales team, this is the program you’ve been looking for. It’s like hiring a proven sales manager for a fraction of the normal cost!
